Progress Report

My personal pepper plants are coming along and I'll move them into outdoor pots this week after some sun and wind training. I hope you are enjoying the spring as much as I am.

I'll spare you the video this month and give you an email update instead, bullet form!

 - All t-shirts mailed! One outstanding address remains to be submitted. You know who you are!

 - Our manufacturing facility has told us they don't have room on their schedule anymore in August, but....

 - We found a great non-profit to work with that will allow us to do much of the manual labor ourselves and keep costs down, and....

 - They have room on their schedule for us in August so that is a big one.

 - We sent Horngoblin off for FDA approval. Pending results and approval we will make a 10 gallon test batch in June to test volume increases.

 - We are working to source fresh or frozen pepper pods for the other 3 flavors to send off to for approval, and then test batches once approval is gained

 - We bought two chest freezers and one vacuum sealer to set up shop at our partner organic farm in New Jersey and also to grab our hundreds of pounds of blueberries in late June in VA while they are fresh and affordable and move them into a freezer while we wait for pepper harvest in ~August

 - Our test organic farm in SC has put plants in the ground as well and once they take we will have the organic accreditation conducted, fingers crossed!

 - In addition to getting the samples out for process approval we need to finish the box artwork and bubble mailers and get them ordered in May as well to leave lots of schedule room for test batches in June and July and primetime in August!

 - Long story long: We are still on track for November hot sauce delivery!

Take care everyone, and thank you again for the support!
